Bird Song Freebie

Hi all, I really hope you had a fantastic Christmas, and enjoyed the holidays and are still enjoying them.  My cold is still with me but it is getting better, so hopefully by next year it will be gone completely 8).
Anyway, here is my last offering for this year, a freebie I have called 'Bird Song'.  Clicking the image above will take you to the download site, and in the file you will get four coloured Song Bird images, in both jpeg and png format.  You will also as usual get a jpeg Song Bird Digi Stamp in the download.

I hope you all have a safe New Years Eve, and that the following Year is happy and prosperous.

Take care and happy crafting,
Greebs...xx

Spot the Dog Freebie, and an extra surprise.

Hi there, firstly I want to say sorry for not posting a freebie lately, the main reason is that this cold has not been very nice and I hadn't felt like doing anything much.  I suspect a lot of you are feeling the same, this bug seems to be everywhere at the moment.  Thanks to all who wished me well in messages it was kind of you to think of me, I really appreciate it.
Today's freebie is a little dog called Spot, if you click the above image you can download a coloured jpeg and Png image of him, plus a jpeg Digi Stamp.  I am not sure why Spot is sitting like that, and as the owner of three dogs I don't really want to know, but I hope you all like him.
To say sorry for the long wait for a new freebie, this morning I did an add-on to Spot the Dog, which I called 'Dress Up'.  You can download it by clicking the image below, and it is a couple of images you can use to give Spot a Christmassy feel if you so wish.

In this download you will get a nice red nose and a smart set of antlers, in jpeg and png format, plus of course both images as a jpeg Digi Stamp.  You can use these images on other things as well, even your own photo's for scrapbooks and such if you so wish.

Hopefully I will get another freebie in before Christmas, but it is approaching so fast now I am not sure if it will happen.  If not, I wish all my readers a REALLY HAPPY CHRISTMAS, but as I said, hopefully there will be another post before the 25th.

Take care of each other,
Greebs..xx

A Flock of Cards

Hello all, well guess what, Stuart had a cold and he has kindly passed it on to me, so generous he is.  The only good thing about it, is that I am feeling miserable this week and not next week, well hopefully not next week.
I was feeling down in the dumps until I opend this mornings e-mails and found that Betty Benton had sent me some images of some cards she made using one of my designs, Birds of a Feather.  A very early design of mine, well is was actually the second freebie that I ever did.  Betty used the coloured images in her cards, and they do look really impressive with the white border around, and she has cleverly found some papers that blend really well with the colours I diod the birds in.  As you can see one of the cards is about being 'under the weather', which I thought was very fitting, and Betty didn't even know I was feeling poorly!!!
Thank you Betty, I do so love seeing what you have done with my designs, and hope that other people will be as kind as yourself and show off their creations too.

There will be a new Freebie next time I post, so see you all soon,

Greebs..xx

A Sign of the Times Freebie

Hi again, well here's something different for you, and it's nothing to do with Christmas.  I had a thought about saying thank you after Christmas, and I came up with this sign, which can be added to a card and then you can use that actual sign board to print your message onto.  Using whatever form of writing you wish.  Scrapbookers can also, I am sure, find a good use for this freebie.

'A Sign of the Times', has two coloured sign images in jpeg and png format, and a digi stamp image included. Just click on the above image to go to the download site.

Happy Crafting,

Cheeky Snowman Freebie

Hey all, not sure if I need to apologise for this one or not, I wasn't going to draw a new Christmas design, but this one just seemed to appear from my pen.  I called him Cheeky Snowman but I guess he could be anything you wanted him to be, well anything very round and very cheeky!!!
In the file you download you will get two coloured (??) images one in jpeg and one in png format, also you will get a digi stamp image. I like this one and I hope you do as well.

To compliment the Cheeky Snowman images I made 6 papers, now I know that not everyone like to download papers so I have listed them seperately for you so you get the choice if you want them or not. They are all jpeg A5 size, but can be made as big or small as you like.

Anyway, hope all is well with you all,

Greebs..xx

Greebo's Pride Part Four Freebie

Well here is is, the final part of Greebo's Pride, with all the family coming together in one image.  There are two versions of the image in the folder to download, a coloured version in both jpeg and png and a sticker version in png.  The sticker version is slightly more 3d than the ordinary version, making it look a little like those crafting stickers you can buy.

Hope you have enjoyed these downloads, have a great weekend.

Greebo's Pride Part Three Freebie

We have had Dad, we have had Mom and now we have the newest member of 'Greebo's Pride', Junior.  I have to admit I had a bit of trouble drawing this image, each time I tried it looked like a bear, I really hope in this final drawing I managed to make it look at least a little lion cubish (I am pretty sure that is a word!!).

In the folder, as in the two other parts if 'Greebo's Pride', there is a jpeg and a png coloured version and also a digi stamp.  I put this one up today as I wanted to finish the Pride kit by the end of the week, so there should be a part 4 posted tomorrow. As long as everything goes okay.

I received my Melt Dust and paper today, so should have some fun tonight, as well as making some labels for my Christmas presents.  So much to have fun with, so little time lol.

I had an interesting message on my last posting...
Pauline(UK) said...
Thank you. I'm going to try to make one of those slider cards (with an outline on acetate and the coloured design underneath) - these would be perfect for that.

I would love to see it if you do manage to do one Pauline, some of my designs would be great for those magic cards.  Especially as I do give you both a coloured and an uncoloured image of the same size in most of my downloads.

See you here tomorrow, same time, same place, or thereabouts.

Greebo's Pride Part Two Freebie

I hope you are all enjoying these Greebo's Pride downloads, this is the second one, and it is a female lion to go with the male you  got earlier in the week.  I wonder if you can see where this is going...

As with the male lion, this image comes to you as a coloured image in both jpeg and png format, and also as a jpeg digi stamp. Just click on the image above to go to the download site.

I have ordered some of the 'My Craft Studio - Melt Dust', and some of the special paper from the Joanna Sheen Online Shop. Which allows you to print onto the paper with your home printer and then use the melt dust as an embossing powder to heat emboss your printed work. I really look forward to enbossing some of my digi stamped images and those of other people that I enjoy to use.  I tell you I am like a kid on Christmas Day with my Crafty Things...  I eagerly await the Postie to see if she has brought me anything.

Talking of Postie, I had four visits from the Post Office today, two seperate deliverys of parcels with Christmas presents for others inside, one delivery of letters, and then my 'Crafts Beautiful' magazine was dropped through the letterbox, I guess it was an afterthought...  lol

Remember folks there will be more of the 'Greebo's Pride' images coming up, so check back in a couple of days time. Until next time, Happy crafting,

Greebs..xx

Greebo's Pride Part One Freebie

Hi all, hope you all had a nice weekend, maybe putting decorations up ready for Christmas or writing cards.  My husband and I were busy making cards after discovering we are woefully behind in the number we need, still it made for a nice weekend.

I thought you might be getting a little tired of my giving you Seasonal Freebies so I thought I would walk on the wild side this week.  Today is the first part of a set of images I have decided to call 'Greebo's Pride', so keep an eye out on my blog for the rest coming up in the next few days.

To download the first Part of 'Greebo's Pride', just click on the image above.  In the file you will find two coloured Lion images in jpeg and png, and one digi stamp jpeg image. I hope you enjoy using these images and the rest of the set to follow.

See you soon, happy crafting,

Greebs..xx

A Christmas Message Freebie

Hello again, for todays download I have decided to give you something a little different, some Christmas Word Art for you  to use.  The nice thing about these is that you make them as big or small as you like, and the six circle messages can be used with a topper or picture in the middle, for either scrap book pages or card making.

The image above shows each message in its png form, meaning the background to each is clear so you can place them on any picture or patterned paper, and still see the image below.  For those that prefer them they all come in jpeg format as well, so you  use which ever you prefer.

The messages are...

Circles...
  • Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree
  • Wishing you a season filled with sweetness
  • You don't need Visa when you got Santa
  • Christmas is love with all the trimmings
  • Sugar and Spice makes Christmas nice
  • Believe in Santa...Just Beclause
 Non Circle...
  • May Peace be your gift at Christmas and your blessing all year through!
I hope you like this download and enjoy using the Word Art on your crafty creations.  If you have a moment to spare take a look at the Poll I am running at the top on the right side of my blog.  I look forward to seeing the results of which of my images my readers use.

Until next time, Happy Crafting,

Greebs..xx

Christmas Pudding Freebie

Hi all, can you believe it's the last day of November, and December starts tomorrow?  I hope you are better prepared for Christmas than I am at the moment, still have loads of cards to make and a few presents to buy.  Today was really nice for me though, as Stuart's Mum and Sister came around for a visit, and you guessed it we did a bit of crafting together. A few cards were made, a good natter was had, and I think we all had a good time.

Also I would just like to thank Joanna Sheen for the wonderful mystery gift I received from her, after I put a card up on her 4th Birthday Forum.  It was a brilliant surprise, and who doesn't like getting surprises?

Todays download is something people either seem to love or hate, no I don't mean Brussel Sprouts, I mean the good old Christmas Pudding.  I have given you a coloured image in both jpeg and png, a digi stamp, and two A5 jpeg papers.

I hope you like it, Happy Crafting,

Greebs..xx

Monkey Business Freebie

Well here we are again, the weekend is nearly upon us, and I wonder if you will be getting up to any Monkey Business?  If you wasn't planning to you can now if you download this pair of cheeky chappies.

Today's freebie is two little monkeys who like nothing more than hanging around all day.  In the download you will get both the coloured monkeys in the above image, in jpeg and png formats, also, as usual, there is a digi version of both images for you to enjoy.  Just click the image above to be taken to the download site.

That's all for now, I hope you all have a great weekend.

Betty Strikes Back

Hi all, look what Betty Benton had done, isn't it gorgous?  She used one of the digi stamps from the Potty About Flowers Freebie and coloured it in using what looks like water colour pencils, please let me know what you used Betty, the shading is brilliantly done.  The sentiment is perfect as well, and the button in the middle of the flower just finishes the card off nicely.

Thank you Betty, I love to see what people have done with my designs as you know lol.

I will be posting a freebie later on today, though am not sure what it will be as yet, so remember to check back later.

Happy Crafting,

Greebs..xx

Rudolph and Friends Part Two Freebie

Well here's what you have been waiting for, all the reindeer you will need to make up your own mini herd, or at least enough for Santa to use for his sleigh, as long as you double up a few.

In this freebie you will get four coloured jpeg reindeer, four coloured png reindeer and four jpeg stamps of the reindeer images.  Just click on the image above to go to the download site.

I had some great comments for the first part of Rudolph and Friends, thank you all, and Stooby also loved all the nice things you had to say about his card. He's working on his second one made up from the graphics in Part One, so I look forward to seeing what he comes up with.

I had a hard time writing this as my time was split between uploading the new freebie and joining in with the 4th Birthday celebrations on the Joanna Sheen Forum.  Joanna was running a quiz for prizes and one of the questions was to count how many of the Promarker Pens she stocks in her shop, has the letter 'E' in their name.  My head is still spinning from trying to count them as quickly as possible, and I still didn't get it right.  lol.

Oh well, enjoy the download,

Greebs..xx

Stuart Makes A Card

Well here it is, Stuart got to work last night and produced this card from the 'Rudolph and Friends Part One Freebie'. As a true crafter he wasn't to happy with it, he said it didn't turn out quite as he wanted, but I thought it was wonderful.
He used all the 'Part One' Images to make the card, including both backing papers.  He cut out the 'Rudoph Nose' backing paper to make an appeture so that the image and text peeped through from beneath. The only thing he used not in the freebie was the 'Happy Christmas' sentiment, which was a peel off sticker, oh and some Mirri board for matting and layering.

So what do you all think of Stuart's card?  Leave a message and let him know...  I am sure he will be happy to read any comments.

Happy Crafting,

Greebs..xx

Rudolph and Friends Part One Freebie

Ever get that feeling you have forgotten something?  Of course you have, we all do from time to time, and it seems the same thing has happened to Rudolph and his friends in this freebie for you.  This turned out to be quite a big download, so I split it into two parts, the second of which will follow in a few days, and includes a set of coloured images and digi stamps of the reindeer you see in this download.

Anyway, enough of what is to come, today's download has two image files, Santa's reinder grouped ready to pull his sleigh, in jpeg and png formats.  Under the grouped reindeer is the phrase, 'Ever get that feeling you have forgotten something?', which I thought quite funny.  This can be used as a topper for a card or as part of a scrapbook page.  As an added bonus I have included two Backing Papers both A5 jpeg, hopefully they compliment the image.  I have given Stuart my husband the challenge of making a card with this download, so if he does I will put it on my blog to show you all.  He can't back out of it now can he?

Hope you all have fun with this download, and remember to keep checking back for the second part.

Happy Crafting,

Greebs..xx

Potty About Flowers Freebie

Hello again, I hope you have all had a great week, and the weather didn't and isn't causing to much damage where you live.  As you can see I have been busily drawing, and have for you one of my biggest kits so far.  I have been doing so many animals lately that I thought you might be getting bored, so today I give you Potty For Flowers, a floral freebie for you to craft with.

Clicking the image above will take you to the download site, and once downloaded you will have in the kit...
Four coloured jpeg Flower in Pot Images (Blue, Orange, Purple and Red).
Four coloured png Flowes in Pot (Blue, Orange, Purple and Red).
One Yellow jpeg Flower (no pot).
One Yellow png Flower (no pot).
One jpg Terracotta Pot.
One png Terracotta Pot.
Three jpeg Digi Stamps - Flower in Pot, Flower and Flowerpot.
One png flower florish/ Digi Stamp

I am really panicking here wondering if I have managed to include all I wanted, I think I have it all sorted now.  Yes one of the flowerpots (blue flower) is a different colour from the rest, I didn't realise until I made up the title image, but I kinda liked it so kept it in, after all not all pots are the same colour are they?

I hope you like the florish, which is a little different for me, it can be used in borders or turned into a background paper, as it's a png you can do so many things with it, I thought you can use your own crafty imaginations.

As always I would love to see anything you make with my graphics, you can either send me a picture via e-mail, or if you have posted an image on a website, you can send me the link.

Happy Crafting,

Greebs..xx

Piggy Freebie

Hello again, todays freebie is Piggy, for obvious reasons I think.  I was going through some of my older drawings, deleting some that were not as good as they could be, and looking at others to see where I could tweak them to be better. I came across Piggy, which was an early drawing, I was going to delete him and draw another pig, but someting still appealed to me about Piggy, maybe it's the innocent expression, or maybe I just like all things piggy.

Anyway, I know he won't be to some people's taste, but I thought Piggy deserved his few moments of fame.  The download contains, to coloured versions in jpeg and png formats and one jpeg digi stamp, just click on the above image to go to the download site.

Once again I want to thank all my kind readers for their comments on both my blog and my 4shared site, I love reading what you have to say, and it really does inspire to make more creations for you to enjoy.

Happy Crafting,

Peanut The Pony Freebie

Hi all, sorry for the delay in posting on my blog, I had one or two problems recently, most notably deciding to upgrade Ruby my Laptop to Windows 7. Ruby took exception to a new operating system and threw a childish tantrum, which took us over 3 hours to put right, needless to say I was not in the mood for writing on my blog... lol.

Anyway it is hopefully all sorted now, and I am in a more agreeable frame of mind, so here is a new download for you all. I have called him Peanut the Pony and I really hope you find him as cute as I do. A coloured version of Peanut comes to you in both peg and png format, and there is a black and white jpeg digi stamp as well.  Also included is an A5 sized jpeg backing paper that I did to compliment the Peanut Image.  Click the above image will take you to the download site.

Happy Crafting,

Percy the Penguin Freebie

Hi all, I have been staying for a couple of days with my In-Laws, and guess what I have been doing for the past two days. Crafting!!!, and shopping for crafty things.  Some might say I am addicted,  and some might be right.. lol.  Mum has had me cutting out shapes with me Cricut for her to stockpile, and Dad has kept Stuart my husband busy by playing Golf and Mario Kart on the Wii.  We are having a great time, I have even found time to do a bit of designing, just to make sure that I can keep these freebies coming for you.

Okay onto the bit that really interests you, ~wink~, Percy the Penguin, my new freebie.  Percy comes to you dressed in a scarf, and then a scarf and hat.  Both images comes you in jpeg and png format, and also included in a jpeg digi stamp of Percy without his hat. As an added extra you have a Percy hat jpeg backing paper, A5 in size.

As with the Polar Bears in Beary Christmas, Percy is not just for Christmas, but I can see him in a snowy scene on many a Christmas card this year.  Whatever you do with him, I hope you enjoy your crafting.

Take care,

Greebs..xx

Betty is the First for Inspiration Corner

Yesterday I received a picture of a lovely card made by Betty Benton, a regular reader of my blog.  She used a digi stamp of mine called Gilbert the Frog, and she was kind enough to send me a copy so I could see what she had done.  I love the way she has coloured Gilbert, the shading is wonderful, and she has really brought him to life. As I said to Betty in my reply e-mail, it made my day to see what she had made.  So thank you again Betty, I really do appreciate you sending me your picture.
I have decided to place any cards from amongst my very talented readers that I receive under the label 'Inspiration Corner', so that you can check out some really fab cards, and get some inspiration if you should need some.

Keep on crafting...

Beary Christmas Freebie

It seems that Christmas is only a few weeks away, or so everyone keeps informing me, so I thought I had better try out out a few more Christmas Goodies.  Today I have for you something I called Beary Christmas, as it features two charming little Polar Bears, an adult and a cub.

Beary Christmas includes, three Polar Bear images in both jpeg and png format, as you can see from the image above.  Also, for a change I have done some Word Art, 'Beary Christmas', 'Happy Holidays' and 'From Our Family To Yours', all in png format so you can use them with whatever background you wish. Click on the image above to download the Beary Christmas Kit.

As there are several Digi Stamps, well three actually, to go with Beary Christmas I am giving you them in a seperate download, they are all in jpeg format. Just click the image above to download them.

I hope Beary Christmas helps you with your Christmas Crafting, but please remember, Polar Bears are for life, are not just for Christmas. Change the colour and you can have any sort of bear you wish, for any time of the year.

Happy Crafting,

Wilson The Bear Freebie

Hi again, this week I have been doing quite a bit of blog hopping, visiting a blog and then following links on that blog to other blogs and so on.  I have come across some pretty outstanding blogs out there, so if you have a bit of spare time on your hands you should go for a hop about, you might find some very interesting things.

We all like Teddy Bears don't we, well hopefully it's not just me, lol, so today I am giving you Wilson the Bear, named after a Teddy that is very close to my heart. Wilson Brown-Bear is a rather handsome brown Teddy Bear, and so I thought you might enjoy some Teddies that are rather like him.

Wilson comes in three colours, Brown, Grey/Blue and Pink, all in both jpeg and png formats. I have also made some papers to go with each Bear, they are in A5 size and are jpeg format. I really hope you like this freebie and that you make some great things with them. --:-- After uploading the image above I realised I hadn't added a picture of the Digi Stamp that is included with this download, so I have put up an image to show you what I missed out.  This is not a seperate download, I just forgot to include it in the main image.  Just click on the image above to go to the download site.

Anything you do make with my freebies I would love to see, you can e-mail me a picture of your creations, and I will then show the world on my blog if  say it is okay to do so.  My e-mail address is amongst the links on the right hand side of  my blog.

That's it then, I hope you all have a great weekend, take care if you are going to a bonfire party or display.

Have fun and Happy Crafting,

Greebs..xx

Wellington Freebie

Today I give you a rather special freebie, it is a drawing of my dog Welly.  Now maybe Welly doesn't look exactly as I portray him, but I think it is just as I imagine him to be, which is good enough for me lol.

Welly is a very happy little dog with a very waggy tail, he is a Cesky Terrier, and they come in the colour grey, no matter what shade their fur actually is.  I hope you like him.

In the download, a coloured Welly (grey IS a colour you know), comes in both jpeg and png formats, and there is also a jpeg digi stamp included.  Just click on the image to download.

Hope you all had a nice Halloween, and are even now looking forward to Bonfire Celebrations, I shall of course be keeping Welly and my other two dogs, away from any loud bangs and pops.

Happy Crafting,

Trevor the Turkey Freebie

Hi all, yesterday I had a request for a Turkey.  To be honest I had never thought to draw a Turkey, it was not high on my list of things I wanted to try.  But, I thought I would give it a go to see what happened.  I had to search on the internet to see what Turkey's actually looked like, not having been up close and personal with one lately, lol.

The end result is Trevor, so called by my husband, and I hope he looks somewhat like a Turkey, at least enough so that Kitten who requested it, will be able to use it in her card making.

Trevor comes coloured in both jpeg and png formats, and also in a jpeg digi stamp.  Just click on the link above to be taken to the download site.

Till next time folks, Happy Crafting,

Milly Mack - The Card

Hi all, it's been a little while since I made a card, guess I have been to involved with creating graphics lately, but I set to and made this one.  It was no hardship though, I don't mean to crow about my own work, but I do love the Milly Mack Image, she is definately a favourite.

The card was very easy to do as well, I have a new printer now, the 'Canon MP640', and one of it's remarkable talents is to be able to print on card up to 300gsm  So I popped a card blank into the back, did some measuring, and faffing (a technical word) on my graphics program and was able to print directly onto the 260gsm greeting card.

The backing paper I printed was a quilt effect paper I made, and which I used to make Milly's quilted coat, so the paper and image match perfectly. I cut out a circle using my 'Cricut', and bordered it with a lovely chain effect bronze peel off.  I coloured inside each of the holes along the chain with a blue 'Sakura' glaze pen, having to go around twice to get the lovely deep blue colour shown. I then placed this and slightly raising it, using 'Pinflair Glue', onto the card base.

Milly was coloured in using Promarker pens, I chose the Digi Stamp with the quilted coat as you can see. I used a white pen to highlight some places on the image and then placed her onto the circle, raising her up once more with 'Pinflair Glue'.

I went through my button box and found some that matched really well with the buttons doing up Milly's coat, so I placed one in each corner. I also edged the card in bronze straight line peel offs, blending in with the chain border around the circle.

I hope you like Milly Mack - The Card, I had a great time making it.

Happy Crafting,

LadyBug Bookmark Freebie

Hi there, here as promised yesterday is the LadyBug Bookmarks.  There are two of them, each with a front and back, one has a little verse that I made up and the other is blank so you can decide which you like. Just click on the image to go to the download site.

All you have to do is print out the A4 sheet, cut out the images and stick the backs to the fronts.  Lamenating them makes them a bit stronger, but you don't have to do that.

I hope you all have a great weekend, and do some enjoyable crafting.

Take Care,

Look out tomorrow or the day after for a LadyBug bookmark, which you can cut out and use.

Milly Mack Freebie

Hello there, I am in a very good mood today, not just from the really wonderful comments that people have been leaving on my blog and my 4shared site, for which I am truely greatful, but also that I have finally got my new laptop.  After the terrible time with Priscilla, Queen of the Laptops, that some of you may have read about in my blog, I have finally been blessed with a working laptop for doing my graphic designing on.  I have christened her Ruby, as that is her colour, and she (touch wood) seems to be working fine.  Yay!!!

Next came the happy news that I have won a free SVG kit of my choice from SVGCuts. The kit I choose was the '3D Flowers SVG Kit', which came via e-mail this morning, thank you very much the kind people from SVGCuts, I look forward to having a lot of fun with my Cricut in the near future. Yay!!!

Okay enough about my good mood and onto the freebie.  Today I give you Milly Mack, a lovely little girl who just loves to dress up in different coats.  In the download I have already coloured in a couple of Milly's for you, they are both in png format.  Also included are three different Milly Mack Digi Stamps, in jpeg format, so there is a lot for you to play with in todays download.  Just click the image above to be taken to the download site.

If you like Milly's quilted coat, it is made from a background paper I designed, but due to it's large size when I completed it I never made any more.  If you look carefully at the coat you will see one of the butterflies from my Butterfly Brights Freebie Kit making an appearance.  The coat is faded down from the original image which is much brighter.  If anyone is interested in the paper let me know, and I will post it up as a freebie on its own.

Hope you enjoy Milly, I was quite proud of her,

Happy Crafting,

Greebs  xx

Elle the Elephant

Hi all, hope you had a lovely weekend.  Today's freebie is a little special as it has taken me a while to complete.  Several weeks ago, not long after I first started my blog, two of my sisters, Sue and Carol, both asked me to draw an Elephant.  My first attempts were a disaster to say the least, but as I have gained confidence in drawing, and learned new tricks and techniques, I think I manged to draw a creditable Elephant for them.  Sue asked me to do the trunk pointing upwards, as it is a sign of good luck, so I think I covered all their wishes.
Elle the Elephant comes to you in both png and jpeg formats.  There are two versions of Elle as Mousey snuck into one of my drawing sessions and I didn't notice her until to late ~grin~ .  Also included is a Digi Image for you to colour in.  Just click on the image above to go to the download site.

Last but not least, a quick hello to any Sheenies that might be popping by my blog, I hope you like what you find.

Happy Crafting,

Mousey Freebie

Hi all, you know what, I think I have done this the wrong way round, I should have really given you Mousey before Kitty Litter, as in real life the cat would chase the mouse. But looking at these cute little rodents, would you really want them chased away before you could download them?
Mousey comes in four different colours, both in jpeg and png format.  I made two boy mice and two girl mice, the girls both having a flower behind their ears, oh and slightly brighter cheeks.  I also added a Mousey Digi Stamp which is really quite cute, and easy to colour in if you so wish. Click on the image above to go to the download site.
To compliment the Mousey Mice, I came up with four matching papers, just click on the image below if you would like to download them. They are A5 jpegs, but you can make them any size you like in a graphics program.  The file is quite big, I have not got the knack yet of making smaller file sizes for my papers.  I guess it is the images I add, so that is why I split them from the Mousey images, to make downloading easier for slower internet speeds.
Well thats all for this week, hope you all have a fine craftying weekend, take care.

Gilbert the Frog Freebie

Well I hope you all had a lovely weekend, I know I did.  Went out on Saturday for a drive, and can't you tell it is now Autumn, I couldn't believe the lovely colours in the trees, with their leaves all changing.  Reds, greens, golds and browns, it was really spectacular to see.  On the Sunday, with Jenson Button winning the 2009 F1 Season on the TV, I got to do a little card making in the afternoon, not that I need an excuse, and had fun making a mess with my brayer and some new 'Smirk' stamps I had bought on the Saturday. I shall have to show them off to you sometime.
For todays Freebie, I give you Gilbert the Frog, who was inspired by one of our dogs Welly, who has a tendency to thinks frogs are something to play with, and pays the price of a very nasty taste in his mouth. He has come in drooling and foaming at the mouth at least three times now, feeling very sorry for himself, yet he does not learn from the experiance. Silly dog!!!
Gilbert comes in both png and jpeg format, and also a jpeg digi stamp, I quite like the way I managed to get his eyes in the coloured version, looking a little like some of those googly eyes you can buy.
I hope you like him,

Happy Crafting,

Sally and Marnie Freebie

Hi again, today I'd like to introduce you to Sally and Marnie, two friends who just love balloons. Sally loves pink balloons and Marnie thinks blue balloons are best. I would be the first to admit that I am not the best at drawing, and drawing people was pretty hard for me.   I can't tell you how many times I redrew this pair, not happy with the hair, the face, the hands etc. etc., so hopefully the finished result isn't to bad. I learn so much each time I draw something new, and it's nice to share with others.

This download comes with two images of Sally and two of Marnie, in both jpg and png formats.  Also included are two digi images, one the original girl image and the second image is after I had added some decoration on the dress and hair.  Both just cry out for you own colours, I can't wait to get my promarkers out myself.  Finally I have included two papers, both covered in the girls balloons.  One is full colour and the other I have softened to make it look almost as if you were printing vellum. As usual just click on the image to go to the download site.

Have a really lovely weekend all, I shall really try not to post anything new until Monday, but no promises.

Happy Crafting,

Butterfly Brights Freebie

The weather might be a bit dismal but the same can't be said for todays Freebie.  In fact I think I should warn you to put on your sunglasses before you look at this set of Butterfly Brights, after all who said that Autumn has to be all browns, oranges and yellows.  Todays Freebie is all about making you smile, and making those who you share them with, either in scrapbooking form or card making form, smile too.  Life is to short to be conventional all the time.

Butterfly Brights has been split into two downloads, as the papers by themselves are quite big and I thought it would be easier for those with a slower connection speed to download the whole kit this way.  In the first download you will get four colourful Butterflies, and four matching Tags, both in jpeg and png file formats. In the second download you will get the four matching papers, A5 size in jpeg format. Just click on the links below to be taken to the download site.

Have fun crafting,

Alien Fion Freebie

In Space no one can hear you complain about having a bad hair day!!!
This is it, there's no more space left in the corner, we have been officially over run by beings from other planets.  Meet Alien Fion, who did her hair especially for today, and is not happy that it has gone all frizzy and fly-away.

As with Alien Bob and Alien Sid, Alien Fion comes to you in two versions, a nicely colourful image and a digi stamp for you to colour.  The images come in both jpeg and png format, and Fion also brings two of her very own backing papers for you, both A5 jpegs. Click the image above to download this file.

Hopefully there will be no more other wordly visits to the Crafty Corner, as it's getting slightly cramped in here, but you never know, the 'Truth is out There'.

Have a great weekend all,

Alien Sid Freebie

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's just Alien Sid!!

I told you that Alien Bob had a few friends, and look who has dropped in to see you all, it's that purple dude from outer space, Alien Sid.

As with Alien Bob, his good friend Sid, comes to you in two versions, a nicely colourful image and a digi stamp for you to colour.  The images come in both jpeg and png format, and Sid also brings two of his very own backing papers for you, both A5 jpegs. Click the image above to download this file.

Not only that but Alien Sid brought a special gift for you all,  three toppers, each in jpeg and png formats, and a decoupage sheet of toppers for you to print out.  These would look great on cards and scrapbook pages, and go nicely with Alien Sid's backing papers.  Click the images below to download this file.

I wonder if the Aliens are trying to take over the whole of Crafty Corner, I suppose time can only tell.  Check back often to see if you can spot any more Out Of This World goings on.

Alien Bob Freebie

Run For Your Lives!!!!
The Aliens are coming, and boy do they look scary!!!

No, it's okay, come out from behind the sofa, it's only Alien Bob, and he doesn't look that scary at all, in fact looking at his strange little smile I am sure he really wants to be friends.

Alien Bob, comes to you in two versions, a nicely colourful image and a digi stamp for you to colour.  The images come in both jpeg and png format, and Bob also brings two of his very own backing papers for you, both A5 jpegs.

Some more of Bob's friends might be invading my crafty corner this week, so keep your eyes peeled for strange occurrences in the future.

Happy Crafting,

Stitched Just For You

Hi all, yesterday I went out to visit 'Pondskipper Crafts' in Peterborough, and had a great time looking through all the crafty things.  I was lucky enough to come across a set of unmounted stamps by 'Creative Expressions', that I had loved when I saw it on 'Create and Craft' on TV. The stamps come on a rubber sheet and are from the U-Mount series, and this set is called 'Stitches'.
When I got home I mounted the rubber sheet onto 'EZ Mount', and carefully cut out the images.
For this card I used a large corner stamp from the set, the stamps measures just over 11.5 cm x 12 cm, and is a lovely size.
I stamped out the image using a 'Memento - Tuxedo Black' inkpad and then coloured in using promarkers, but decided to limit myself to three colours for the actual stamp.  The colours I chose were Burnt Orange, Olive Green and Aubergine. I did use the colour Cool Grey 1 to shadow around the image, but everything else was coloured with the other three.  I then matted the image onto a deep purple paper and then onto a lovely bronze mirri board, placing the final topper by foam tape to raise it, onto a 15.5 cm square card.  I then did fake stitching around the outside of the card with a black pen, to blend with the stitched effect of the rubber stamp.
The greeting was from a set of 'Fairy Doodles' clear rubber stamps by 'buzzcraft', which was stamped and then matted and mounted on foam tape.
I liked making this card very much, and really loved the effect of using the three colours, I hope you all like it to.

'Til next time, happy crafting,

Greebs xxx

Secret Time...  When I was at Pondskipper I was told a little secret, on the 16th October, Pondskipper with be unveiling their very first craft collection on the 'Create and Craft' tv shopping channel , they are needless to say very excited about this and I really wish them well.  They gave me a sneaky peak at what they were going to show, and it was lovely, so remember to put the date in your crafty diary.

George and a Word to the Wise Freebie

So I maybe getting carried away with this freebie lark, I admit it, but I am just enjoying creating things to darn much to stop it seems.
Though I must admit I was very much encouraged by some really fantastic comments left on my blog and on the 4share download site.  It does mean so much to hear how people are enjoying my graphics. So today I have a little gift for you all.
George the Owl, as anyone who has read my blog knows, is my most popular download to date, and just because I felt like it I made these two bookmarks.  The bookmarks are for you to cut out, they come with a front and a back, that you just have to stick together.  One of the backs is plain and the other has a Nursery Rhyme written on it, which sums George up quite nicely. You can size the bookmarks to suit yourself, and if you have a lamenator, they look really cool wrapped in plastic!!!

That's all for now folks,

Happy Crafting,

Greebs..xx
