Christmas Pudding Freebie

Hi all, can you believe it's the last day of November, and December starts tomorrow?  I hope you are better prepared for Christmas than I am at the moment, still have loads of cards to make and a few presents to buy.  Today was really nice for me though, as Stuart's Mum and Sister came around for a visit, and you guessed it we did a bit of crafting together. A few cards were made, a good natter was had, and I think we all had a good time.

Also I would just like to thank Joanna Sheen for the wonderful mystery gift I received from her, after I put a card up on her 4th Birthday Forum.  It was a brilliant surprise, and who doesn't like getting surprises?

Todays download is something people either seem to love or hate, no I don't mean Brussel Sprouts, I mean the good old Christmas Pudding.  I have given you a coloured image in both jpeg and png, a digi stamp, and two A5 jpeg papers.

I hope you like it, Happy Crafting,

That's all for now, I hope you all have a great weekend.

Betty Strikes Back

Hi all, look what Betty Benton had done, isn't it gorgous?  She used one of the digi stamps from the Potty About Flowers Freebie and coloured it in using what looks like water colour pencils, please let me know what you used Betty, the shading is brilliantly done.  The sentiment is perfect as well, and the button in the middle of the flower just finishes the card off nicely.

Thank you Betty, I love to see what people have done with my designs as you know lol.

I will be posting a freebie later on today, though am not sure what it will be as yet, so remember to check back later.

Happy Crafting,

Rudolph and Friends Part Two Freebie

Well here's what you have been waiting for, all the reindeer you will need to make up your own mini herd, or at least enough for Santa to use for his sleigh, as long as you double up a few.

In this freebie you will get four coloured jpeg reindeer, four coloured png reindeer and four jpeg stamps of the reindeer images.  Just click on the image above to go to the download site.

I had some great comments for the first part of Rudolph and Friends, thank you all, and Stooby also loved all the nice things you had to say about his card. He's working on his second one made up from the graphics in Part One, so I look forward to seeing what he comes up with.

I had a hard time writing this as my time was split between uploading the new freebie and joining in with the 4th Birthday celebrations on the Joanna Sheen Forum.  Joanna was running a quiz for prizes and one of the questions was to count how many of the Promarker Pens she stocks in her shop, has the letter 'E' in their name.  My head is still spinning from trying to count them as quickly as possible, and I still didn't get it right.  lol.

Oh well, enjoy the download,

Stuart Makes A Card

Well here it is, Stuart got to work last night and produced this card from the 'Rudolph and Friends Part One Freebie'. As a true crafter he wasn't to happy with it, he said it didn't turn out quite as he wanted, but I thought it was wonderful.
He used all the 'Part One' Images to make the card, including both backing papers.  He cut out the 'Rudoph Nose' backing paper to make an appeture so that the image and text peeped through from beneath. The only thing he used not in the freebie was the 'Happy Christmas' sentiment, which was a peel off sticker, oh and some Mirri board for matting and layering.

So what do you all think of Stuart's card?  Leave a message and let him know...  I am sure he will be happy to read any comments.

Happy Crafting,

Rudolph and Friends Part One Freebie

Ever get that feeling you have forgotten something?  Of course you have, we all do from time to time, and it seems the same thing has happened to Rudolph and his friends in this freebie for you.  This turned out to be quite a big download, so I split it into two parts, the second of which will follow in a few days, and includes a set of coloured images and digi stamps of the reindeer you see in this download.

Anyway, enough of what is to come, today's download has two image files, Santa's reinder grouped ready to pull his sleigh, in jpeg and png formats.  Under the grouped reindeer is the phrase, 'Ever get that feeling you have forgotten something?', which I thought quite funny.  This can be used as a topper for a card or as part of a scrapbook page.  As an added bonus I have included two Backing Papers both A5 jpeg, hopefully they compliment the image.  I have given Stuart my husband the challenge of making a card with this download, so if he does I will put it on my blog to show you all.  He can't back out of it now can he?

Hope you all have fun with this download, and remember to keep checking back for the second part.

Happy Crafting,

Potty About Flowers Freebie

Hello again, I hope you have all had a great week, and the weather didn't and isn't causing to much damage where you live.  As you can see I have been busily drawing, and have for you one of my biggest kits so far.  I have been doing so many animals lately that I thought you might be getting bored, so today I give you Potty For Flowers, a floral freebie for you to craft with.

Clicking the image above will take you to the download site, and once downloaded you will have in the kit...
Four coloured jpeg Flower in Pot Images (Blue, Orange, Purple and Red).
Four coloured png Flowes in Pot (Blue, Orange, Purple and Red).
One Yellow jpeg Flower (no pot).
One Yellow png Flower (no pot).
One jpg Terracotta Pot.
One png Terracotta Pot.
Three jpeg Digi Stamps - Flower in Pot, Flower and Flowerpot.
One png flower florish/ Digi Stamp

I am really panicking here wondering if I have managed to include all I wanted, I think I have it all sorted now.  Yes one of the flowerpots (blue flower) is a different colour from the rest, I didn't realise until I made up the title image, but I kinda liked it so kept it in, after all not all pots are the same colour are they?

I hope you like the florish, which is a little different for me, it can be used in borders or turned into a background paper, as it's a png you can do so many things with it, I thought you can use your own crafty imaginations.

As always I would love to see anything you make with my graphics, you can either send me a picture via e-mail, or if you have posted an image on a website, you can send me the link.

Happy Crafting,

Greebs..xx

Piggy Freebie

Hello again, todays freebie is Piggy, for obvious reasons I think.  I was going through some of my older drawings, deleting some that were not as good as they could be, and looking at others to see where I could tweak them to be better. I came across Piggy, which was an early drawing, I was going to delete him and draw another pig, but someting still appealed to me about Piggy, maybe it's the innocent expression, or maybe I just like all things piggy.

Anyway, I know he won't be to some people's taste, but I thought Piggy deserved his few moments of fame.  The download contains, to coloured versions in jpeg and png formats and one jpeg digi stamp, just click on the above image to go to the download site.

Once again I want to thank all my kind readers for their comments on both my blog and my 4shared site, I love reading what you have to say, and it really does inspire to make more creations for you to enjoy.

Happy Crafting,

Peanut The Pony Freebie

Hi all, sorry for the delay in posting on my blog, I had one or two problems recently, most notably deciding to upgrade Ruby my Laptop to Windows 7. Ruby took exception to a new operating system and threw a childish tantrum, which took us over 3 hours to put right, needless to say I was not in the mood for writing on my blog... lol.

Anyway it is hopefully all sorted now, and I am in a more agreeable frame of mind, so here is a new download for you all. I have called him Peanut the Pony and I really hope you find him as cute as I do. A coloured version of Peanut comes to you in both peg and png format, and there is a black and white jpeg digi stamp as well.  Also included is an A5 sized jpeg backing paper that I did to compliment the Peanut Image.  Click the above image will take you to the download site.

Happy Crafting,

Percy the Penguin Freebie

Hi all, I have been staying for a couple of days with my In-Laws, and guess what I have been doing for the past two days. Crafting!!!, and shopping for crafty things.  Some might say I am addicted,  and some might be right.. lol.  Mum has had me cutting out shapes with me Cricut for her to stockpile, and Dad has kept Stuart my husband busy by playing Golf and Mario Kart on the Wii.  We are having a great time, I have even found time to do a bit of designing, just to make sure that I can keep these freebies coming for you.

Okay onto the bit that really interests you, ~wink~, Percy the Penguin, my new freebie.  Percy comes to you dressed in a scarf, and then a scarf and hat.  Both images comes you in jpeg and png format, and also included in a jpeg digi stamp of Percy without his hat. As an added extra you have a Percy hat jpeg backing paper, A5 in size.

As with the Polar Bears in Beary Christmas, Percy is not just for Christmas, but I can see him in a snowy scene on many a Christmas card this year.  Whatever you do with him, I hope you enjoy your crafting.

Take care,

Greebs..xx

Betty is the First for Inspiration Corner

Yesterday I received a picture of a lovely card made by Betty Benton, a regular reader of my blog.  She used a digi stamp of mine called Gilbert the Frog, and she was kind enough to send me a copy so I could see what she had done.  I love the way she has coloured Gilbert, the shading is wonderful, and she has really brought him to life. As I said to Betty in my reply e-mail, it made my day to see what she had made.  So thank you again Betty, I really do appreciate you sending me your picture.
I have decided to place any cards from amongst my very talented readers that I receive under the label 'Inspiration Corner', so that you can check out some really fab cards, and get some inspiration if you should need some.

Keep on crafting...

Beary Christmas Freebie

It seems that Christmas is only a few weeks away, or so everyone keeps informing me, so I thought I had better try out out a few more Christmas Goodies.  Today I have for you something I called Beary Christmas, as it features two charming little Polar Bears, an adult and a cub.

Beary Christmas includes, three Polar Bear images in both jpeg and png format, as you can see from the image above.  Also, for a change I have done some Word Art, 'Beary Christmas', 'Happy Holidays' and 'From Our Family To Yours', all in png format so you can use them with whatever background you wish. Click on the image above to download the Beary Christmas Kit.

As there are several Digi Stamps, well three actually, to go with Beary Christmas I am giving you them in a seperate download, they are all in jpeg format. Just click the image above to download them.

I hope Beary Christmas helps you with your Christmas Crafting, but please remember, Polar Bears are for life, are not just for Christmas. Change the colour and you can have any sort of bear you wish, for any time of the year.

Happy Crafting,

Wilson The Bear Freebie

Hi again, this week I have been doing quite a bit of blog hopping, visiting a blog and then following links on that blog to other blogs and so on.  I have come across some pretty outstanding blogs out there, so if you have a bit of spare time on your hands you should go for a hop about, you might find some very interesting things.

We all like Teddy Bears don't we, well hopefully it's not just me, lol, so today I am giving you Wilson the Bear, named after a Teddy that is very close to my heart. Wilson Brown-Bear is a rather handsome brown Teddy Bear, and so I thought you might enjoy some Teddies that are rather like him.

Wilson comes in three colours, Brown, Grey/Blue and Pink, all in both jpeg and png formats. I have also made some papers to go with each Bear, they are in A5 size and are jpeg format. I really hope you like this freebie and that you make some great things with them. --:-- After uploading the image above I realised I hadn't added a picture of the Digi Stamp that is included with this download, so I have put up an image to show you what I missed out.  This is not a seperate download, I just forgot to include it in the main image.  Just click on the image above to go to the download site.

Anything you do make with my freebies I would love to see, you can e-mail me a picture of your creations, and I will then show the world on my blog if  say it is okay to do so.  My e-mail address is amongst the links on the right hand side of  my blog.

That's it then, I hope you all have a great weekend, take care if you are going to a bonfire party or display.

Have fun and Happy Crafting,

Greebs..xx

Wellington Freebie

Today I give you a rather special freebie, it is a drawing of my dog Welly.  Now maybe Welly doesn't look exactly as I portray him, but I think it is just as I imagine him to be, which is good enough for me lol.

Welly is a very happy little dog with a very waggy tail, he is a Cesky Terrier, and they come in the colour grey, no matter what shade their fur actually is.  I hope you like him.

In the download, a coloured Welly (grey IS a colour you know), comes in both jpeg and png formats, and there is also a jpeg digi stamp included.  Just click on the image to download.

Hope you all had a nice Halloween, and are even now looking forward to Bonfire Celebrations, I shall of course be keeping Welly and my other two dogs, away from any loud bangs and pops.

Happy Crafting,

Trevor the Turkey Freebie

Hi all, yesterday I had a request for a Turkey.  To be honest I had never thought to draw a Turkey, it was not high on my list of things I wanted to try.  But, I thought I would give it a go to see what happened.  I had to search on the internet to see what Turkey's actually looked like, not having been up close and personal with one lately, lol.

The end result is Trevor, so called by my husband, and I hope he looks somewhat like a Turkey, at least enough so that Kitten who requested it, will be able to use it in her card making.

Trevor comes coloured in both jpeg and png formats, and also in a jpeg digi stamp.  Just click on the link above to be taken to the download site.

Till next time folks, Happy Crafting,

Greebs..xx

Milly Mack - The Card

Hi all, it's been a little while since I made a card, guess I have been to involved with creating graphics lately, but I set to and made this one.  It was no hardship though, I don't mean to crow about my own work, but I do love the Milly Mack Image, she is definately a favourite.

The card was very easy to do as well, I have a new printer now, the 'Canon MP640', and one of it's remarkable talents is to be able to print on card up to 300gsm  So I popped a card blank into the back, did some measuring, and faffing (a technical word) on my graphics program and was able to print directly onto the 260gsm greeting card.

The backing paper I printed was a quilt effect paper I made, and which I used to make Milly's quilted coat, so the paper and image match perfectly. I cut out a circle using my 'Cricut', and bordered it with a lovely chain effect bronze peel off.  I coloured inside each of the holes along the chain with a blue 'Sakura' glaze pen, having to go around twice to get the lovely deep blue colour shown. I then placed this and slightly raising it, using 'Pinflair Glue', onto the card base.

Milly was coloured in using Promarker pens, I chose the Digi Stamp with the quilted coat as you can see. I used a white pen to highlight some places on the image and then placed her onto the circle, raising her up once more with 'Pinflair Glue'.

I went through my button box and found some that matched really well with the buttons doing up Milly's coat, so I placed one in each corner. I also edged the card in bronze straight line peel offs, blending in with the chain border around the circle.

I hope you like Milly Mack - The Card, I had a great time making it.

Happy Crafting,

Greebs..xx
