Fat Bee Freebie

Hello there, hope you all had a great weekend, I know I did, wishing Stuart's sister a very Happy Birthday on Sunday, had a lovely time visiting her.  Unfortunately on the way back home, our car began to get a little sick, and at one point we thought we wouldn't make it...  but we managed to in the end, will have to try and book it into a garage tomorrow though.  Plus the felt roofing on the top of our shed had decided to come off while we were away, so Stuart has to have a go at fixing it back on at some point, we haven't got any of the right sort of nails, and of course we can't go out and get any with the car playing up.  At the moment the felt is being held on with the few nails Stuart had, and several bricks!!!!  I wonder if I could use my crafty glue or double sided tape on it...

Anyway enough of my problems...  and onto today's freebie, which is as you can see a rather rotund bee.  Unkindly called, Fat Bee, you will get 2 coloured files in jpeg and png and 1 line art drawing in jpeg.  Also in this download you will get the following word art phrases.  In both jpeg and png, the jpeg phrases comes on an A4 sheet for you to print out, and the png's are all separate  for you to use.

The phrases you will get are,
  • Whatzz the Buzz !?
  • Just Bee~cause...
  • Where would I bee without you ?
  • You are the bee's knees !!
  • If you let the bee be, the bee will let you be.
  • No bees, no honey: no work, no money.
  • Bee yourself !!
  • For my honey...
I hope you enjoy this download, happy crafting...

Look Back on 20K

Hey there, yes I have finally reached the 20,000 downloaded file mark, and that's a very large number.  I am actually over 20,000 but as I test each link to make sure it works before my freebies go live, then I needed to go slightly over to be sure.  Thank you all for enjoying my work so much you have decided to download, thank you again for all the lovely comments about my work, they are very much appreciated, and finally a big thank you to all those crafters who have used something I designed in your crafting.

To celebrate reaching the big 20K, I thought I would list the top 5 downloads, in reverse order, which for whatever reason have been saved onto you computer by you.

Number 5 :-  GTC Freebie 1
This was the very first freebie I put up, my first try at Digi Stamp drawing.  I am always surprised to to see it in the top 5, hanging in there with a total of 365 downloads as of today.  It took time to do this one, and there are several mistakes that today I would propably never of allowed, and I never did give the download a proper name.  I have learnt a lot about drawing, and am still learning, but Freebie 1 is still a favourite, of you it seems as well as myself.

Number 4:-  GTC Peanut Pony Freebie
I really enjoyed making Peanut, he is so cute, I have used his basic body design for several different characters, but Peanut holds a special place in my heart and yours too it seems, after being downloaded 374 times in total as of today.  Any card I have made with Peanut has been received with a smile, which I think sums up this Digi Stamps personality.  The paper I designed to go with him is an added bonus, and I am really happy that this one is in the top 5.

Number 3 :-  GTC George Freebie
What can I say about George the Owl, he has been a firm favourite with you all ever since I posted him.  He was my Number 1 download for a very long time, and I even gave him pride of place in my banner at the top of my blog.  I have received a huge number of comments about George, all good, and now with 382 downloads, as of today, under his wing, he richly deserves his number 3 spot in the top 5.  I have used this design on cards, ATC's and scrapbook pages.  He is such a versatile image, and with the added bonus of a backing paper I think he will stay in my top 5 for a long time to come.

This one did surprise me, not that I don't like Lucy, she is baa-tiful!!!  But to rise so quickly to the coverted number 2 spot was a surprise, Lucy along with her pals have had 393 downloads as of today.  She was very easy to draw and really fun to make.  The hardest part was the Word Art I included with her download.
To get everthing just right took a lot of time, but I am glad you like her so much.

Number 1 :-  GTC Home Freebie
From first posting these Digi Stamps, they romped into first place, and have remained there ever since, with a huge total of 450 downloads as of today, they are far and away my most downloaded image.  Drawn at my mum-in-laws whilst staying over for 2009 christmas holidays, these took ages to tweak just right. You all loved these images, even though I managed to cut off one of the cottages sides in the image above (they are ALL whole in the download).  I think everyone got really tired of me saying, what do you think of this, and does this work?  But the end result was not displeasing, and thank you for downloading this one into the number 1 spot, and for enjoying so many of my other free downloads.

Okay, that's the top 5 downloads as they stand today, but with so many downloads both old and new nipping at their heels, I wonder if they will still be the top 5 when I reach 40k downloads.  Keep watching this space to find out...  LOL.

Hugs and much love to all my blogging and crafting friends, lots of whom I have never met in person, but who have kept me going in this blog and have really helped me and encouraged me with words of much kindness.

Happy Crafting...

Square is the Colour Freebie

Phew!!!  Don't know what it is like where you live, but here it is quite warm, in fact very warm...  in fact (mild swear word) hot!!!!  To hot to sit at my super warm laptop and post another freebie, and yet, I do...  encouraged very much by a kind lady called Val (see last post), who said some very nice things about my last freebie.

Today I give you some more free papers, of a square nature.  If you liked the last papers you will love these, as they print out fantastic. Clicking on the image above will take you to the download site, and in the download you will get seven coloured A4 jpeg papers.  Black, Blue, Brown, Green, Orange, Purple and Red.  Strangely enough I didn't do one in pink, which is one of my favourite colours, maybe I shall have to make another paper for myself.

Top News is that I am well on the way to getting 20,000 downloads of my freebies, which is an awful lot.  Such fun!!!  Happy Crafting...

Spotty Papers Freebie

Today I felt like doing something a little bit different, so I sat down and design a few cheerful looking backing papers.  I have been making lots of cards lately with this sort of design type papers, and have been really enjoying mixing and matching papers, and I thought to myself that I could make some of these.  So here are the first batch, and I hope you can find some use for them in your crafty designs.

This stack of seven colours of Spotty paper are all 300dpi, A4, jpegs.  So should print out really well on all printers.  The download is a little bit bigger than my normal downloads, but I hope you will not mind to much.  The colours are all what you see in the picture, have fun.

~~~ UPDATE ~~~
How about this...  only just posted and people are showing me their gorgeous cards.  This one has been made by Valerie from Cards by Val, she has some really lovely cards on her site and it's well worth a look.  Thanks Val, for sharing your talent with us.
Close the Gate Freebie
Hello there, hope you all had a wonderful weekend, I know I did.  Went to see my niece Emily on Sunday, it was her 12th birthday, or it is today I should say.  Had a great time, my husband Stuart's birthday is next weekend so Emily baked him a birthday cake as she wouldn't see him on the actual day.  It was brilliant, such a talented chef in the making...  Hope you have a wonderful birthday Emily, sorry you had to go school on it... bah humbug!!!!!
Today's freebie is, as you can see, a lovely stone wall with a gate in the middle.  The nice thing about the png version is the you will be able to see through the gate into the picture beyond... so you can create a scene.  Of course you can also cut it out, and take out the spaces between the gate slates (??) to do the same thing and 3d it on a crafty creation.
In the file you will get a coloured wall and gate in jpeg and png format, and as usual you also get a jpeg Digi Stamp image.  I thought after so many weird and wonderful creations I would bring you something more down to earth today.  I hope you like it.
Hello again, some of you might be glad to hear that this is the very last of the Critter Collection I have for you...  but I have saved the best for last, in my humble opinion.  I know you shouldn't have favourites, but Boxey I can imagine being useful for so many crafty endeavours... and he really makes me smile every time I look at him.
In the download you will get 2 coloured versions of Boxey, 1 in jpeg and 1 in png.  Also included is a jpeg Digi Stamp for your enjoyment.
Happy Crafting all...
Loopy Freebie
Hi all... hope you all had a great weekend.   I have just started making my Christmas Cards for this year, to be honest I wasn't looking forward to it as I have been in a bright and cheerful colouring mood, using an awful lot of Funky Hand papers to make my cards recently, and for some reason I thought my Christmas Cards had to be more subdued.  Well, I got over that this weekend...  I made six cards in total, all in fab and funky colours, not traditional...  Pinks and Purples, Oranges and Browns, using lots of Dustin Pike Christmas Digi Stamps.  I had such fun, and am still doing so...  trouble is...  I should really be making Thank You cards for the people who bought such wonderful presents for my birthday...  I have two finished!!!  There is just not enough time in a weekend to do all my crafting... good job it's a Bank Holiday here, so I have an extra day... Yay!!!!
Anyway I shall stop babbling now and write about my new Critter Loopy.  Loopy comes to you as a coloured image in both jpeg and png format, and of course a black and white jpeg Digi Stamp.  I like Loopy, he looks cool... especially with that strange hair type fuss on top of his head, I hope you like him - (he looks like a him to me) - as well.
Happy Crafting...
