Quackers Freebie

Hi all, this will most likely be the last post before Christmas, I decided that I would give you all another freebie, but maybe you are a little tired of all the Christmas images, so I drew this little fella.  I loved him as soon as he came to life on my computer and really hope you like him as much.

In the download, which you can get by clicking on the image above, you will get a coloured Quacker in both jpg and png format, and you will also get the Quackers Digi Stamp in both formats as well... lucky you...

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas Time, and a really Happy Holiday this year.  Thank you for all the wonderful comments, for your support through all the good times, and the odd hic-cup along the way.  I appreciate all you say, far more than I could ever express, you are my Muse, if a Digi Artist can have such a thing...  Hugs to you all...

Fancy Flake Freebie

Just what you need huh?  More Flakes for you to deal with, and I am not referring to dandruff.. lol.

This download is a little larger than usual due to the two papers included, but they are quite nice, and I am sure you will be able find something to do with them.  They are both A4, 300 dpi jpg images, and the Fancy Flakes Digi stamps, are jpg and png formats in black and white colours, though you can colour them to make them match your designs if you so wish.

Have fun,

I hope you have fun with this image, I like it a lot, but then I am biased...  lol

Have a great weekend all...

Santa's Little Elfer Freebie

Good Morning, and boy is it a cold one...  so cold that I have decided to go into hibernation until Christmas Day.  So I am even at this moment eating a pile of doughnuts only slightly smaller than myself to make sure I have lots of nourishment to see me through the weeks to come.  So while I pass away the time eating my doughnuts, I thought I would post this little Freebie for you, I called it Santa's Little Elfer, because at this time of year I bet Santa needs all the help he can get.

By clicking on the image above you can go and download a coloured version of the image in both jpg and png, and also included is the digi stamp as usual.  It's a fun image and I hope you like it.

Er...  I feel a little sick...  and I am only half way through my doughnut pile... must run now....

Happy Crafting,

hugs Janie..xxx

Christi's Rudest Gingerbread Man

Hi there, hope you all are having a great weekend, and if you aren't here is something that will cheer you up, it definitely made me laugh out loud. Christi from, Christi's Creations, used my Gingerbread Man image to make this wonderful card.  You can find out about it by going to this post on her blog.

I just thought it was so funny, and asked Christi if she would let me share it with you all, as you can see she kindly said yes.

Well I am off to make a few more Christmas Cards now, not sure if they will be the 'Bite Me' variety, as most of them will be for Stuart's work colleagues, though I am sure at times, Stuart feels like saying this to some of them ~tee hee~

Happy Crafting...

Finally it has arrived - The Nativity Stable Freebie

Well lots of you have been asking for this, and this morning I woke up and thought today was the day I would give it a go...  you know how you always put off those hard things...  Strangely it didn't take me to long once I got going, and I hope you like the finished result.

You can put as many or as few of my Nativity images in and around the stable, remember if you are adding the images in a graphics program to use the png versions of my images.  I did a quick try to make sure it looked okay and it worked fine.
In the download which you get by clicking on the top most image, you will receive, a coloured image in both jpg and png, and a digi stamp image in both formats as well.  I hope this doesn't come to late for all you Christmas crafting needs, but if so I guess there is always next year...

Right I'm off to make a few more cards now, and just maybe one or two might have a Nativity scene... who knows...

Happy Crafting,

Gingerbread Man and a Half Freebie

Before I begin I want to apologise for not posting last week, and I want to say a big thank you to Joan for the e-mail that mad me realise that I was being a little silly for letting something that was beyond my control stop me doing something that I enjoy.

My husband insisted I post something immediately, when I said I hadn't been blogging, and he chose this image, and then realised that he didn't like part of it...  lol

I call today's freebie Gingerbread Man and a Half, it is the half that Stuart objects to for some reason.  In the download you will receive in colour 1 full gingerbread man, and one half eaten gingerbread man in both jpg and png formats.  Also, you will receive 1 full gingerbread man, and one half eaten gingerbread man jpg and png digi stamp.

I will try to be a little better at posting, after all it is the Season of Goodwill...

More Christmas Tickets Freebie

Hi all, today's freebie is a little different as there is no Digi Stamp attached, in fact it's just a sheet of A4 jpg images, all 300dpi as usual with my freebies.  I know I put up some Christmas Tickets a couple of blogs ago, but as I said they were drawn a while ago, and for this year I wanted to try to be a little more creative.  As with the other tickets I made these for my own use, but liked them so much that I just had to share...

Stuart likes them to, well apart from the one with Trevor the Turkey on  ~snigger~.  The Tickets/Toppers come in three different sizes on the sheet, and are all images I have previously drawn.
I hope you like this as much as I do, regardless of what Stuart says about Trevor...  he still doesn't get my sense of humour.

Have fun,

Rudy Freebie

Hi all, hope you are all happy and well.  Today's freebie is the one and only red nosed reindeer, and goodness what a large and very red nose he has.  In the download you will receive Rudy in all his coloured glory in both jpg and png formats and also in the same formats you will get the lovely digi stamp image for you to colour in however you wish.  I hope you enjoy using this image...  I think he will brighten up anyone's day.

I had a not so subtle comment about copying images in my comments section in my last post.   I would never deliberately copy another person's work, and I did go check out the images in question and I was surprised to find a great similarity between our designs.  All I can say, is that great minds can think alike, and I am sorry if the lady who commented felt slighted in any way.

I would prefer anyone with concerns of this sort to write to me via e-mail, which is posted on the right hand side of my blog at all times, so that any problems can be cleared up without the need for posting on each others comments section.

Thank you again for all comments, I enjoy reading (most of) them.

Happy Crafting,

Christmas Tickets Freebie

Wow, the weather is certainly rather inclement at the moment, blustery, windy and chilly.  In fact if I had those symptoms I would be straight off to the doctors for some of his nice sunny pills, but alas we can't do that for mother nature so we must endure.  Still when its horrible outside, it's great for crafting inside, so with that in mind I offer you today some Christmas Tickets.
I made these quite a while ago, and never really planned to offer them as a freebie, but I have really enjoyed using them, especially using all the many different paper altering techniques around, like Tim Holtz products, mica sprays, glitters, chalks etc.  In fact you can make them anything you like, or just print them out on different coloured papers and of course if all else fails you could leave them blank...
The Tickets come on 1 A4 sheet, and include messages such as...  Let It Snow, White Christmas, Merry Christmas, Jolly Holidays and Noel... there are plenty more, with 2 of some and 1 of others.  Just click the image above to go to the download site.

Happy Crafting,

A Present For You

Hi there everyone, been pondering what freebie to give you, as I have been VERY lazy lately and not done any drawing, and it seems every drawing I have left to give you is a Christmas one...    But then, I suppose if I don't give them now, when you are starting to think of making your cards and other Christmassy things then it will be to late.  I am very behind in making cards, I will REALLY have to put some effort into it soon, or I shall be just sending out a white card blanks to every one... saying that its a polar bear in a snow storm - lol.

Anyway, today's freebie is not just for Christmas, but all year round, which is how presents should be.  In the download, which as usual you can get by clicking on the image, you will find, 3 coloured parcels, hearts, spots and trees, in both jpg and png formats.  Of course if you don't like my colours, you can have a go yourself with the incuded digi stamps of the the 3 presents in jpg format.

Hope you have a fun time with these, and with that large straight side you can convert them into a full sized card, by using them as a template.

Happy Crafting,

Castle Crafty Freebie

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening/Night (Delete as appropriate) boys and girls, are we sitting comfortably?  Then I shall begin...

Once upon a time, in a kingdom not so very different from our own, there was a mighty King, who lived in a fabulous castle on top of a hill.  This castle was called Crafty, because the King loved to play with paper, card, glue and all things sticky.  In fact, the King loved crafting so much, he actually built his lovely home from card and paper, and now you can to.

In the download of Castle Crafty, you will receive, a coloured image in jpg and png formats, and a Digi Stamp Image which you can colour in whatever style you wish.  Check back next week, as their are a couple of characters waiting in the wings which will fit perfectly with this image...

Have a great weekend...

In the download you will get a jpg and png coloured image of Ketchup, and also included as usual is a lovely to colour in Digi Stamp image.

I love this image, he looks so cute, and I really hope you all like him to.

Frog Face Freebie

Hi again, as you can see today I have an extreme close up for you, happily it is another freebie, unhappily is is an extreme close up of a frog.  I suppose it does sort of fit in with Halloween coming up, not that I celebrate it, but Frog Face can be used by anyone who likes frogs, anyone who knows anyone that likes frogs, and of course anyone who thinks anyone they know looks like a frog.
Of course you could also use it of you don't know anyone who likes frogs, just for the fun of it, frogs are fun you know, and anyone who receives something you have made using Frog Face will say, 'Oh the face of a frog, what fun!!!'  SO what are you waiting for, download by clicking the image above and start creating, make someone you know smile, and show them how much you really care about them, by using Frog Face.
In the download, you will receive a coloured Frog Face image in jpg and png formats, and a Digi Stamp Image in jpg format.
Share and Enjoy....  Happy Crafting...  Happy Frog Face Day!!!

So this is an extra add-on to Joan's Nativity collection, but as an added bonus I have added some Word Art of popular Christmas Carols that fits nicely over the top of the angel.  So you can use the image with or without the Word Art.

In the download you will get...
  • One coloured image in jpg and png formats
  • One digi stamp image in jpg and png formats
  • One A4 Sheet of jpg Word Art Images (Not shown)
  • One png 'Glories Stream From Heaven Afar' Word Art
  • One png 'Glad Tidings of Gret Joy I Bring' Word Art
  • One png 'Tis the Season To Be Jolly' Word Art

  • One png 'The First Noel, the Angels Did Say' Word Art
  • One png 'And Peace to Men on Earth' Word Art
Phew, I think I have them all written down there...  as you can see I forgot to add the A4 Word Art Sheet to the image above, but as you all know what an A4 sheet looks like I hope you will forgive the little lapse...

Have a great weekend all, I have a new Spellbinder Nestabilities to play with, so I shall be having fun...

Hi there, after a week of Nativity I thought you might like something a little different, and here it is.  Three single flower blooms, in red, blue and yellow.  Each coloured bloom in the download is in both jpg and png formats, and the matching digi stamp image is a jpg.  They are bright and cheerful flowers, just what you need to add some colour to these Autumnal days.

The Nativity Part 8

Hello again, well here we are the final part of the Nativity, and of course it is the last King, I really hope he brought some bodyguards with him, carrying around that huge lump of gold!!!  I must say a big thank you once more to Joan who came up with the idea of the Nativity, and I really hope you have enjoyed these downloads.  Of course never satisfied, GrammaR, has asked for a camel, an angel and even a stable to complete the set.  I shall be working on some of these if not all for a future freebie, so keep an eye out, as you never know when the Nativity will strike again!!!

In today's Freebie, just click the image above, you will receive a coloured King 3 image in both png and jpg formats, and a matching digi stamp image.

Thanks for all the kind messages and to everyone who downloaded this set.  Until next time...

The Nativity Part 7

Helllllllooooooooooooooo, yet again... bet you are starting to get fed up with these freebies now, but don't worry only another day to go after this one, and then you will have the entire Nativity to play with.

Firstly I have to apologise to Betty (Nah nah nee nah nah) as today's freebie isn't a King as she thought it might be....  and I honestly didn't do a quick change around of the order, as they had all been sorted at the start of the Nativity. Only in fun Betty (~hugz~).

Today's freebie is a Shepherd, carrying a hand warmer, you can tell he is a very busy man as he can't be bothered to trim his beard, either that or he is thinking of starting his own musical group, possibly called, Sheep Sheep Tops <- Get it?  Get it?  Ah well I thought it was funny anyway...

Back to the freebie, ahem, in the download you with get a coloured Shepherd in both png and jpg formats, and the lovely Digi Stamp image in the same formats as well.

Happy Crafting,

The Nativity Part 6

Hello again, phew I have had a busy day, popped out to buy a nice easy chair for the room we keep Darwin in so we can sit comfortably while he is wreaking the room around us, of course we then needed a throw to cover it, against accidental poopidges.. (that is a real world you know).  Then we had some lunch at a pub, as you do, and then we popped into Sir Stampalot, bought a crafty few things, and then popped into another crafty place called Pondskippers, and accidentally bought a few more crafty things...  tee hee.

So finally I am home again, having a cup of tea, and writing to my blog, so you can get the next part of The Nativity, which I know you are all waiting for...    Today's download is another King, cunningly called King 2, so you won't confuse him with King 1.  Stuart says that he would look just like this handsome (?) fellow if he took off his glass and allowed his beard to grow!!!!  I am not totally positive about that, but shan't argue with him, as he was nice enough to buy me a surprise pressie for reaching the 50,000 download mark.  He bought be a Cuttlebug as a surprise, aren't I sooooooooooooooooooooo lucky!!!!!!

King 2, arrives on your computer as a colour image in both jpg and png, and also as usual a digi stamp image in both jpg and png as well.

Don't worry the Nativity hasn't finished yet, and there are a couple more days to go... so don't go anywhere...  and if you do, remember I want to see a note from someone in charge when you get back!!!

The Nativity Part 5

Good morning all, for indeed it is where I am, Stuart is on holiday from work all this week which is wonderful, I woke this morning to the melodic barking of Darwin, who has so quickly learned to bark like our dogs it's ridiculous.  I mean honestly, is to much to ask not to have a fourth dog in the house in the mornings???  (I was indeed being ironic when I said the word melodic)

Today's freebie from the Nativity is two of the central characters,  The Manger, for the baby Jesus to rest in, and of course the Star, for without the Star then no one would of arrived and no pressies!!!!!   I hate no pressies!!!!!  The Manger rests nicely between the images of Mary and Joseph, but the nice thing about these individual images is you can decide the scene you want.

In the download you will receive, a coloured Manger and Star image in both jpg and png formats, and a digi stamp image of both in the same formats...  Remember to keep a weary eye open for part 6, arriving shortly, well tomorrow actually...

The Nativity Part 4

Hi again, and on we go with the Nativity, today I bring you King number 1, I have decided to call him a King and not a Wise Man, as personally I feel that anyone who wears a hat to keep his head warm and it has a huge hole in the top is not very wise!!!!  Stuart was very jealous of this fella's moustache, and I just know Darwin, our African Grey would love to perch on either side....

In the freebie you will receive, a coloured King 1 in jpg and png formats, and a digi image in the same formats.  The collection is getting big isn't it?  But there are lots more to come, so remember to check back tomorrow.

The Nativity Part 3

So who do we have today as the 3rd part of the Nativity Set? Well I thought Mary might be getting lonely without her Joseph, so that is what I am offering you today.  After trudging all the way to Bethlehem leading the donkey with Mary on-board, no doubt Joseph thought he could do with a couple of days rest, yet he had to make do with a stable, no wonder his beard seems to of gone grey in my image.

Click the image above to get the download of a coloured Joseph in jpg and png formats, and a digi stamp image on jpg and png formats also.  There is more to come, so keep an eye out for part 4, coming to a blog near you soon.

Happy Crafting,
hugs Janie xxx

The Nativity Part 2

Hi again, it's time for the second part of The Nativity Freebie, and this time you will receive if you click the image above, a donkey and a sheep.  The donkey is of course an important part of the Nativity as it carried Mary all the way to Bethlehem, even though it was rumoured that he had a touch of sciatica in his left leg.  The sheep made a comfy saddle to cushion the donkey's bony back.  At least I think that is why he is in the story, no doubt I will be told different if I am wrong.

In the download you will get 1 coloured donkey and 1 coloured sheep in both jpg and png formats, and a black and white digi stamps in jpg and png as well.  Remember to come back tomorrow and see what freebie delight I have on offer, yes the third in this series awaits you... (Some folk might construe that as a threat - it is honestly not meant to be - at least I don't think it is)

The Nativity Part 1

Hi there, a couple of days ago I had a rather nice e-mail from Foxycrafts asking me if I did requests and if I did would I have a go at doing a Nativity Scene.  Now if you are a regular to my blog you know I have a terrible time doing people, I am not that good an artist to get them to look just right.  But, I like a challenge, and I decided to accept Joan's (aka Foxycrafts) challenge, so over the next few days I will be posting the different images I came up with for a Nativity Scene.  All the downloads will include coloured jpg and png images, and also jpg and png Digi Stamps.  I don't usually include a png Digi, but decided that just this once you deserved the extra effort.

To start of the Nativity I would like to introduce you to Mary, wife of Joseph and of course Mummy to the baby Jesus.  Just click on the above image to go to the download site and begin collecting the Nativity.

Remember to come back tomorrow for another Nativity Freebie...  and there are plenty more to come after that...

Time For TV Freebie

Hi all, I am so glad you are now on guard for the dreaded Craft Monster, hopefully now none of our crafty things will go missing on us, but somehow I doubt it... he's a sneaky little pest....  Thank you very much for the kind comments, they were really wonderful to read and made me laugh.  You are a great bunch of people!!!

Today's freebie is a little bit more down to earth, yes it's a TV, sort of modelled on ours in the front room.  the nice thing about this one is you can add any picture the the digi stamp version, so you can have friends, family, pets or even the post-person on the tv.  Such fun to be had by all...

Just click on the image above and you can download the coloured TV in png and jpg formats and also the very useful jpg digi stamp.  Print the digi image out onto patterned paper and get a really funky looking tv to play with.  Hope you have lots of fun with this one...

Craft Monster Freebie

Once upon a time I was enjoying a wonderful craft session, printing, colouring, cutting, glueing and embellishing to my hearts content. Then the scissors went missing, they were there a moment ago I was using them, but now they were gone.  I hunted high and low, but they were still missing!!!  So I got another pair, turned to cut the backing paper I was going to use and it to had gone.  'My, oh my (I honestly do talk like that),' I said, 'Well this is a fine turn up for the books.'

After much searching, and not a little cussing...  (nope no cussing at all)...  my missing craft items came to light, but I could not help but wonder why they had gone missing in the first place.  I mean,  you don't just lose something you had been using a few seconds ago do you? (No comment)

So I sat and thought, and then I pondered, and then I ate a doughnut (very good for thinking about things), and finally I came to the conclusion that something must be stealing my craft things.  So I came up with a plan, a cunning plan, a plan so cunning that it was foolproof in it's cunningness...

I decided to hide in wait, with pen and paper in hand...  I waited, and waited, and waited, ate another doughnut, waited some more, and finally IT crept out of a hole in craftspace (that's the creative space of craft) and grabbed a sticky back gem and made off with it!!!!!!

I quickly drew what I had seen, and the Craft Monster was fearsome to look at, but I am giving you what I drew as a freebie today, so you can keep a look out for him, so your crafty things don't go missing to!!!

If you are brave enough to click on the image above, you will receive in the download, a coloured Craft Monster image in both jpg and png formats, and also, as usual, a png digi image.

Keep a look out, don't turn your back, stock up on plenty of doughnuts and always be on guard for the CRAFT MONSTER!!!

hugs Janie...xxx

P.S.
No crafting items was harmed during the writing of this blog.
Names have been changed to protect the innocent.

In the download, which you can get by clicking on the image, you will find a coloured Peek in both jpg and png formats, and a freebie jpg digi stamp image of him as well to have fun with.

Wow can you believe it's the first of October!!!!!  Where is the time going I wonder?  Have a great weekend all of you, hope you are going to do something you really love.

Rhapsody In Blue Freebie

Hi there, sorry to disappoint if you have arrived here for an image or a digi stamp, but I made these papers the other day and loved them so much that I wanted to share them.  I have trouble compressing paper files, they always end up rather large, especially if I want the quality to be there.  I originally made them to be Christmas papers, but they can be used at other times of the year as well.  Here is a close up of the papers so you can see the texture I managed to add, I am quite proud of the finished product.  Just click on the below image to make it bigger, to get a preview of the papers, then if you like what you see click on the above image to be taken to the download site.
The 4 papers in the download are all 300 dpi A4 jpgs.  They are a lovely pale blue colour, and feature different patterns on each.  I hope you like them enough to want to download.

hugs to you all... Janie xxx

I taught I saw a.... freebie

Hi all, well this is something different isn't it...  I was playing, I liked what I was doing, so I thought I would offer it to you all as today's freebie.  I have called it Puddy Tat, and by clicking on the image above you will be able to download a coloured version in both png and jpg formats, and of course as usual, the jpg digi stamp image for you to have fun with.  I hope you like it as much as I did.

Thank you very much for your comments about the dog house freebie, unfortunately the counting system in 4shared was down so I am not quite sure how many downloaded the freebie which is a shame as it is nice to know how many people are downloading images to see what is liked and disliked.  So it is double thank you's to all those who commented...  it is good of you to let me know what you are thinking...  ~blog hugs all round~

In the Dog House Freebie

So this is a bit of a surprise for me as well as you, not very often do I post at the weekend, and yet I find myself doing so today.  Stuart's Mum commented that the Bird House, a couple of blogs ago would make a nice little Dog Kennel if altered a little...  so...  I decided to make a Dog House just so she can use this one instead, and of course you can all use it as well.

The download, which as usual you get just by clicking on the image above, has two coloured dog house images, one with a sign saying 'Dog House' and the other blank for you own words.  You get both these images in jpg and png formats.  You also get both images as digi stamps in jpg format.

I hope you are all having a great weekend, doing what you all love to do.

See you soon, happy crafting,

Simon a Simple Freebie

Hi there, well what do you think of today's little gem?  It is another for my and yours hopefully collection of Critters.  The others you can find in the 'Out of This World' Label on the right if you want to take a look at the previous offerings from yours truly.

In the Bird House Freebie

Morning all, or afternoon, evening or night depending when you read this... to me it is morning, and quite a chilly one, it is really beginning to feel Autumnal outside some days now.  So I decided to give you a nice bright freebie today, my own interpretation of a bird house, so it has to be a little different didn't it.  lol.

In the download, which you can access by clicking on the image above, you will receive a coloured image in both jpg and png formats, and of course a sweet little, or big depending what size you want it, jpg digi stamp image.  There is lots to colour in on the digi stamp which I quite liked, you can even do a little decoupage on it if you so fancy.  I really hope you have fun using this freebie.

Happy Crafting,

A Simple Mug Freebie

... As the famous line goes... and now for something completely different...

Today I give you a simple mug image...   which I hope you will find quite interesting to use.  It can be used for many different occasions just by the different decorations you adorn it with.  Numbers, names, patterns, anything really you have a blank canvas in the provided jpg digi image.   I have made a colour version in both jpg and png, but to be honest that is not the main part of the download today.  You can print the digi out onto any backing paper you wish and have a patterned mug to embellish...  you could even use it as a template to cut out a mug card...  Have fun !!!

Dolly Daydream Freebie

Hi all, didn't the weekend just fly by... well it did for me... busy, busy, busy!!!!  So it's nice to sit down and relax and do a little blogging...  and this freebie I really like...  not sure why, but she makes me smile whenever I look at her, which can't be a bad thing.
I called her Dolly Daydream, and she is dressed for Christmas in the jpg coloured version which you get in png format as well in the download.  Along with the digi stamp image which will allow you to colour her in any way you like... so Dolly Daydream is not just for Christmas.
Also included are four A4 jpg 300dpi backing papers, that are a perfect match to Dolly herself.  Of course you can use them for other things as well, your only limit is your imagination ~grin~...  oh... and printer ink of course, but please don't get me onto the subject of the cost of inks, or I will definitely have a humbug moment.

Happy Crafting,
hugs Janie xxx

P.S.
I don't like mint, so humbugs are very, very bad!!!!

Star Bauble Freebies

I promised another Christmassy freebie and here it is, some really bright baubles in a Janie rainbow of colours.  In the download you will get jpg and png coloured baubles in green, pink, red and grey, plus a jpg digi stamp image.  Just click on the image above to go to the 4shared download site and follow the instructions.  Also with the baubles I made some matching papers, but I do realise that some folks don't like paper downloads, so I have made them a separate download for those that do.
The papers are all A4 300dpi, and the colours match the baubles perfectly... not that you have to only use them with my images.  I made a jolly nice card last weekend using the bright red one, looked quite impressive to.  Was jolly pleased and went away with the satisfaction of a job well done. lol  So if you want these 5 papers just click on the image above to download them.

Hope you have fun...

Lucky the Robin Freebie

As always Christmas comes early in the world of crafting...  it has to really or we would never get anything done.  So today as a freebie I give you Lucky the Robin, a jolly little (or large) red-breasted fella, perfect for all you Christmassy needs.

Why Lucky I hear you cry...  well that has a funny story attached...  I was trying to find a nice festive name from my little robin.  I used a search engine to find Christmas names but none of them suited, so I spied an Elf name generator, so I clicked on the link which took me strangely enough to the BBC Shropshire Christmas Santa's Little Helpers' Name Generator, which is quite a mouthful to say, and even harder to write.  I thought okay give it a whirl, anything for Shropshire!!!  I put robin in the name section and redbreast in the surname section (you must not use capitals for some reason) and pressed the 'Show Me' button.  The name revealed was.... wait for it.... wait for it....
Lucky Floppy-Cheeks
So who am I to argue with that name????  Lucky Floppy-Cheeks the Robin, a perfect Christmas name if ever I heard it...  LOL  By clicking on the image above you can download Lucky in a jpg and a png coloured version, and of course the lineart digi stamp.

Maybe if you are 'Lucky' there could be some more festive freebies this week...  so remember to pop back when you have a moment to spare... you never know what might be awaiting... ho..ho...ho!!!

Ahoy There Freebie

Ahoy there me hearties...  today I offer you a boat of sorts.  I firstly want to make it clear that I know nothing about boats, so this is a very imagination driven image, more like a childhood dream of a boat.  So saying I have hopefully covered all the basics...  it has a mast, a sail and windows.  Windows are good to see where you are going...  ~big all knowing grin~ .  I have left everything blank on the digi image so you can add embellishments and words of you own.

In the download which you will get by clicking on the image above, you will get a coloured boat in both png and jpeg format, and you will also get, as I said above, a jpg digi stamp image.

I hope you enjoy this digi...  happy crafting this upcoming weekend.

Feed Me Freebie

Morning all, or evening... or afternoon.. or night...  whenever and wherever you are it's nice to see you.  Hopefully that has covered everybody, would hate to think I have missed anybody...  ~grin~

Today's freebie was based on Darwin our African Grey.  When we first had him we fed him weaning food from a syringe.  It was a comfort thing for him, he was fully weaned, but did he like that weaning stuff !!!!  As I said this image is based on that... and no it is not an African Grey...  As usual in the download which you can get by clicking on the image above, you get 1 coloured image in png and jpg formats, and a jpg digi stamp of the same image.

I hope you like this image, I had a little help making it... or at least getting it ready to put on this blog...
Yes that's Darwin helping me out...  he is very good at blogging, he even has his own blog at Darwin Grey's World, it's not very big at the moment, but Darwin is very young...

Enjoy the new digi, happy crafting...

Red Gem Toppers

Hello all, as you can see I have been having a little crafty fun this weekend and I thought I would show you all what I have been up to.  I decided to use different papers to colour some of my digi stamp images.
I used Rey Text and Graphics 160gsm paper to print all the images on.  It is a good stiff paper, that gives bright and clear images when printed on.  I used 4 sheets of paper, 2 were perfectly blank sheets that I printed out the digi stamp images onto.  The other 2 I printed out backing papers on from the gorgeous Dreams Come True crafting CD-Rom, part of the Papercraft Factory range from Funky Hand. I then run the already printed on sheets back through my printer, printing the digi stamp images onto those as well.

Now comes the fun part, deciding what to cut out from where to make up coloured version of the images.  I first of all cut out the plain digi images leaving a small border of white around each.  I then cut up the background papers, using different paper for the different parts, and stuck them together.  I used Crafters Companions, Spray and Sparkle on some of the cut pieces, to give an extra wow factor. Promarkers were used to colour the blank paper beaks, eyes and feet. I also used 3D Crystal Lacquer to highlight the eyes and feet and then added a red gem on each one.

I was really pleased with the finished toppers, so I wanted to show them off, even though I haven't got round to putting them on a card yet.

Thanks for reading,

Happy Crafting,  Janie xxx

Another Chuffing Freebie Part Two

Your wishes are my command.... or words to that effect.  In your ever so nice comments to me, several of my wonderful crafty friends asked for the train to be expanded.  So I quickly put these two train carts together for you.  They are jpeg digi stamps, I did not do a coloured version as I am a lazy wee cuss (not so wee actually but that's a different story).  They fit perfectly with the train digi stamp, and I hope it is something along the lines of what you were hoping for.

It seems I have reached another landmark in my blogging, 150 Followers now trail after me no matter where I go.  Didn't know that many could fit in our bathroom !!!!  Nah just kidding...  but I am so happy that so many people have chosen to follow my blog, it is such a compliment to me.  Welcome one and all, I hope you continue to find my blog interesting, and that there are always images you want to download.

Hugs and happy thoughts for the weekend,

The digi stamp is also a totally blank image for you to use, no hamster crept into the design.

  • 1 coloured jpeg Train
  • 1 coloured jpeg Train with Hamish the Hamster
  • 1 coloured png Train
  • 1 coloured png Train with Hamish the Hamster
  • 1 jpeg Train Digi Stamp
I hope you find a good use for this Chuffing Train Freebie, and if you want some more Hamish Hamster just click his name to go to his page on my blog.

I know I often say it, but I have been getting some really fantastic comments lately.  I really do appreciate all you say, and I treasure every kind word, thanks so much for taking the time to leave them.  I read them all, and love them all.

Happy Crafting,
