Snowdrop Freebie

Hi all, Snowdrops are one of my favourite of flowers, so delicate looking yet so hardy as they poke their way through the frosty earth to make us smile.  I decided to give one a go, I even made the lines around the flower itself say 'Snowdrops', not sure I am entirely happy with the result, but hubby Stuart said if I don't post it soon it will be to late.

Dotty About Flowers Part 1

Hi again, hope you are all well, I am feeling good at the moment, feeling quite excited actually as Stuart and I have bought tickets to go to the Summer Crafting Show at Doncaster, we have never been to a large craft show before so should be a great experience for us both.  I am of course busily saving all my pennies to spend there, but I might have to resort to spending all the pennies that Stuart saves up as well.  Tee Hee !!

Today's freebie is all about flowers, as you can probably tell.  There are quite a few different elements in the download, each coloured image available in both png and jpg formats, and each coloured image has a jpg Digi Stamp to go with it.  I think the large main flower image would look lovely decoupaged up, and hopefully there is something for everyone to play with.  Tomorrow, or possibly Wednesday I will post up some matching papers in 5 different colours, so that's something to look out for...

Pretty Petals Freebie

If I were feeling uncharitable at this moment I could say 'Bah Humbug', why I hear you all cry.  So I shall tell you, my sister Sue is buying herself a Grand Calibur today, lucky sister.   My jealousy has no bounds, I am literally green with envy.  I want, I want, I want...  ~stamps foot~

Feel better now, apart from my foot, that hurts as I stamped so hard.  LOL!!!  I am not really green with envy, that would be such an unbecoming colour, but she is a very lucky sister me thinks...

Anyway, to take my mind off the Grand Calibur, I am giving away these 'Pretty Petals' papers as my latest freebie.  They are all 300 dpi, A5 papers. in various shades of prettiness.  In the image above you can see a close up of the papers, pink, green, blue, purple and brown.  Also you get a Digi Stamp of a matching flower in the download, which you can get by clicking on the image above.

New Growth Freebie

Hello again, hope all is well in your crafty worlds today.  What a grand weekend we have just had, what with the Royal Wedding and all, time for lots of crafting and some fun time spent with hubby Stuart, brilliant!!!

We have four fruit tree's in our garden, and they are looking all green now, it is so lovely to see all the new growth on the branches, and it made me want to give you a small taste of my garden.  So, saying that here it is...  just click on the image above to be taken to the 4shared download site.

Spring Time Freebie

Hello...  what beautiful weather we are having here, hope you all are as fortunate, it seems that Spring is well and truly in its way... Yay!!!

I drew this, this morning, with the Malaysia Grand Prix blaring away in the background, and me with Create and Craft on TV Catchup on my laptop.  Always on the look out for a bargain, or indeed anything crafty, bargain or not.

I think this would make a really nice paper piecing project, printing the digi image onto patterned paper and cutting out the various pieces of the image and sticking them together.   I shall be giving it a go myself later today.  I hope you enjoy this one.

Airy Tree Freebie

Well, what can say to you all, thank you so much for all the kind comments you left for me on my blog, as I said in the last post, they do mean so much to me, and each and every one made me smile, and as you can tell was very much appreciated.

Today's freebie which a have called 'Airy Tree', comes with 3 matching papers, see how lucky you all are... lol.  Just click on the image above to be taken to the download site, and there you can pick up the folder containing, 2 coloured tree's, both in jpg and png formats.  The only difference in the trees is that one has a branch and the other one doesn't.  You also get both designs as a jpg digi stamp, so in this freebie you get quite a collection, and I really hope you enjoy using it.

You will all be happy to know that our Gas has been fixed, and we now have a steady supply to cover all our heating and cooking needs.  Do you know what I missed the most in our week without, it was hot water!!!!  Boiling kettles to do the washing up etc.  No hot baths, though we did have a shower that worked fine, so we didn't get too smelly lol....

Valentine's Flower Freebie

Morning all, at least it is for me... I think I am awake and not still snoozing, dreaming that I am blogging, which you have to admit would be very strange, so forget I even mentioned it.  Unless I am really snoozing and dreaming of blogging and then you would not of known about it as this blog isn't real, or is it.  Only time will tell.

If indeed we are in the real world, then I hope you like today's freebie, hubby Stuart was not sure about it, he couldn't get his sweet little head around the lines of the flower being broken,  I said I was trying to be different and arty, he thought I said something else, looked at me strangely and said he would be back when the air cleared...  oh hum!!!!

A Single Flower Freebie

Hi there, after a week of Nativity I thought you might like something a little different, and here it is.  Three single flower blooms, in red, blue and yellow.  Each coloured bloom in the download is in both jpg and png formats, and the matching digi stamp image is a jpg.  They are bright and cheerful flowers, just what you need to add some colour to these Autumnal days.

Dandylion Dreams Freebie

Hello all, hope all is going well with you...  I am quite (understatement if ever I saw one) excited as at the end of this week we should (fingers firmly crossed) be having a new family member, a baby African Grey Parrot.  I am sooooooooooooo looking forward to it, it's like Christmas as a kid, when the 25th took forever to arrive.. lol.

Also I have been watching Create and Craft on TV, as they have been running a Christmas Special over a few days, with loads of Christmas Crafty Ideas, I keep wanting to rush upstairs to the Craft Room and start doing a few more Christmas cards, but it is sooooooooo hot up there!!!!!   I will have to bring some crafty things downstairs and do some crafting, I don't like being to hot I must admit.

Today's download is something different,  but I think it looks really nice.  It is an image based on the humble Dandelion,  I know, I know I have spelt it wrong in the title, but to be honest it is not a true Dandelion and I like my spelling SO much better...

In the download you will get four A4 sized backing papers, 1 Duo Dandylion in jpeg and png, 1 white Dandylion in jpeg and png and 1 black Dandylion also in jpeg and png.  All are brilliant (I am so modest) Digi Stamps that I am sure will be so useful for so many things, and the papers, especially the smaller Dandylion head ones, are wonderful, honest.  The download is slightly large in size, due to the backing papers, so may take a few minutes to download, depending on your download speed, but I think it is worth it, and I hope you do to.

Pretty Flower Freebie

Swirly Tree Freebie

Hi all, today I give you a tree... for free!!!  Oh gosh I am a poet... don't I know it!!!!

Okay... I'll stop now, but it is true, today's freebie is a funky swirly tree.  By clicking on the image above you will go to the 4shared download site, where you will be able to download the file.  In the download you will receive a coloured Swirly Tree image in both jpeg and png format, plus as usual a jpg Digi Stamp image of the tree as well.

You could use this with some of my other images or on its own, which is one of the great things about Digi images, they can be resized to any size you like in a graphics program.  So you can easily give images the correct perspective, and of course if you did do something like this I would truely love to see anything you made.

Whilst I have a moment, I would like to say a BIG HELLO to all my blog followers, there are 59 of you now, and I love each and every one of you.  And, of  course, I also love all my blog visitors, in fact my blog today is filled with love, crafty love.

Mushroom House Freebie

 

Hi all, well, this little house doesn't seem to have much room does it?  Okay, yes I know it was a feeble joke yet again...  but I really just had to say it.

Make Room for the Freebie

 

Hi all, this was supposed to be posted earlier today, but I could not access the 4shared site to store my freebie for you.  It does appear to be working now though, so here goes...

Flora Duo Freebie

Hi all, been a little busy recently putting together some cards for Stuart's work who are doing an office collection for the Haiti Earthquake, to help support the people out there.  We managed to give 69 cards in total, so hopefully they will raise some money for a very sad cause.

 Hello again, I hope you have all had a great week, and the weather didn't and isn't causing to much damage where you live.  As you can see I have been busily drawing, and have for you one of my biggest kits so far.  I have been doing so many animals lately that I thought you might be getting bored, so today I give you Potty For Flowers, a floral freebie for you to craft with.

I am really panicking here wondering if I have managed to include all I wanted, I think I have it all sorted now.  Yes one of the flowerpots (blue flower) is a different colour from the rest, I didn't realise until I made up the title image, but I kinda liked it so kept it in, after all not all pots are the same colour are they?

I hope you like the florish, which is a little different for me, it can be used in borders or turned into a background paper, as it's a png you can do so many things with it, I thought you can use your own crafty imaginations.

Bouquet of Stitched Flowers Freebie

Hi again, don’t these weeks fly by?  It only seems a minute or two ago that I posted Milla at the start of the week and here we are at the end.  Today I have a couple of files for you, they both have the same images in, but one file is PNG images and the other has JPEGs.  I split them up into two because they are quite big downloads, and some people might not want the images in both formats.  Of course if you do then just download both files.

For those that don’t know the difference between the two file types, basically for crafting purposes the PNG file has a transparent background so you only see the actual image, and a JPEG file has a white background surrounding the image. The image above was made using only PNG images.

 The flowers in the download(s) are made from photographed materials, made into flower shapes and the digitally stitched around the edges. I was quite pleased with the result.

Priscilla Update:

For anyone who has been following the exploits if Priscilla my wayward laptop there has been a new development.  After being told yesterday that I must have caused the problems by loading a rogue program onto Priscilla, and that the only way of sorting it out was to take her back to the factory settings.  Basically wiping everything off and starting again.  Today, it turns out that ‘Mesh Computers’ in the infinite wisdom have decided that because of all the problems I have had they are going to send me a brand new laptop.  Which is even now winging its way to ‘Mesh’ from Taiwan, then a brand new Priscilla will be created and sent out to me.

Does this mean that they failed in the re-booting?  I am not sure as no matter how hard I tried no one would admit to anything. Is it still my fault?  I don’t know that either.  I just know that one day, in the near (hopefully) future, I will once more have a laptop to call my own. I also know that it would be very unwise for me to hold my breath until that keenly anticipated day arrives.

Vase of Flowers Freebie

Hello there, hope you all are having as nice a weekend as I am. To celebrate the arrival of my brand new laptop which will hopefully enable me to draw without my programs suddenly shutting down through lack of memory. A most distressing problem to be sure, hopefully now solved.

Anyway, as I was saying to celebrate I give you all a Vase of Flowers. In the file are one PNG coloured image, one JPEG coloured image, and for those who enjoy to colour images themselves, a JPEG line drawing is also included. There is something for everyone hopefully.

As I made this image this morning I haven't even tried colouring the image with my Promarkers yet, so even I have something to look forward to.

Glass Flowers Freebie

Hi again, here's something a little different from me, what you get in this PNG download are Five Flower Heads in various colours, One stem and One Leaf. They can be copied and put together like the full flower you see in the above image, or the flower heads can be used separately in whatever fashion you wish. All the images have a slightly glassy look, hence the name. I hope you enjoy using them. Just click on the image to download.
